Read This Eye Opening Message From Bishop Edir Macedo
The Apostle Paul said, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8.1). Many people say they believe in God, but they don’t know if they are in the flesh or the spirit.
Generally, people who go to church come with spiritual problems and therefore walk in the flesh. Others even think they have the Holy Spirit. But they are used by unclean spirits because the devil can dress as an angel of light.
So, it’s not possible to give credit to all the people who talk about joy, happiness, and laughter, because many of them have these sensations, but they have spiritual problems.
It must be understood that feelings and sensations of well-being are usually not from God. He is Spirit and, therefore, he has neither soul nor heart. The human being is spirit, soul, and body. The soul is symbolized by the heart and is considered the flesh that the apostle Paul relates.
So, when a person is in the faith of the Lord Jesus, he does not walk in emotion. His heart feels like it, but it’s his spirit that makes the decisions.
Therefore, when Paul says that “there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” it is because these people live in the Word of God and have His mind, while the person who walks after the flesh only follows the emotions and feelings.
“When a person is in the faith of the Lord Jesus, he does not walk in emotion. His heart feels like it,
but it’s his spirit that makes the decisions.”
