The Fruits of a New Heart

The Fruits of a New Heart

God goes to meet all people who aspire to follow the straight path and carry the desire to live in justice, like David.

He seeks people on earth whose hearts are bent on doing His Will and obeying His voice and His commandments. And when He finds them, He wants to live in them to be glorified.

The Bible says that David spoke to God, as described in Psalm 51:8-9: “Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.”

David wanted to tell God to hide his face not only from the sins he had committed, but also to erase his evil thoughts. After all, David had even planned to kill his most faithful servant to be with his wife. And who in this world has not committed an iniquity? Everyone. But those who have already been

forgiven, live in justice and on the path of righteousness, only think about taking the Word of Salvation to those who suffer.

A person who has a clean heart does not carry bad feelings… But to have a new heart, you have to let go of the old one.

David also asked God to create in him a clean heart (Psalm 51:10). A person who has a clean heart does not carry bad feelings and only wants to bring to others what he received from God, because he has become a source of living water. But to have a new heart, you have to let go of the old one. It’s like sowing: it is necessary to give the seed to the land so that it can then multiply.
