On August 27th at 10 am, The Universal Church will hold the Sunday of Forgiveness.

This meeting will show you what is necessary in order to receive the Holy Spirit, Who will give you strength, peace, and joy. If you are having a hard time forgiving someone that has caused you pain, then this meeting is for you. Maybe, you say the damage was not done to you but someone close to you, a friend or a family member. Perhaps, there is something you’ve done in your past that keeps condemning you to think you’re a horrible person. On this day, you will receive the spiritual help that you need and learn to forgive not only others but also yourself.

Once you’re able to forgive during these 21 days for the Fast of Daniel, you become available for the Holy Spirit to enter your life.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6.14-15)

There is absolutely nothing positive to gain by keeping grudges. When you hold a grudge against another person, even seeing that person on a picture somewhere causes you to be angry. You become unpleasant and difficult to be around with. Meanwhile, that person might be having a great day and has no idea how you feel. You deserve to be free from this burden that is keeping you from moving forward in life, regardless of what that person did to you or a loved one.

The difficulty in forgiving is reduced at the following steps:

1. Learn lessons from what happened
2. Stop thinking about what happened
3. Move on
4. Focus on positive things and changes
5. Be grateful that God deals mercifully with us despite our own mistakes

Join us this Sunday at 10 am for the Day of Forgiveness and become available for the Holy Spirit to enter your life.
