So he (Moses) looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
This has been the desire of humanity: everyone wants to see a “great sight.” They want to see their family transformed, a happy marriage, a healthy body, prosperity, peace, happiness, a life in which everything goes well. Overall, they want to see the promises of God materialize as Moses saw God in the form of Fire in that bush.
God imposed one condition in order for Moses to see those great wonders.
So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” This is an advice to sanctify yourself.
Taking the sandals off our feet means to take all the dirtiness, the spiritual filthiness that draws us away from God. How can we enter into the presence of God, Who is Holy, with impurities? There is NO way!
He said,“Be holy, for I am holy.” He does not require you to be perfect, but for you to sanctify yourself and remove the filthiness from your feet so that you may step on the holy ground – His Kingdom.

May the God of the Bible bless all of you.
