Our good conscience1 min read

The Universal Church

“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” (Hebrews 10:22)

You should not be casual about your salvation and live foolishly. Don’t try to reconcile having a living faith in the Living God with life according to this world. You can’t have both. The Lord Jesus said, “No one can serve two masters.” You choose the lord you serve. If you choose to serve God, then all your other choices should be based on this principle.

You choose eternal life through the use of intelligent faith. You ponder, think, reason, weigh, and choose carefully. If something doesn’t seem right and bothers your conscience, you should avoid it. But whatever helps to keep your conscience clean, then stick with it in faith. Our faith depends on our good conscience. If we lack a good conscience, we also lack faith. But when our conscience is clear, our faith is strong and we take possession of what we want.

Let’s keep our faith pure so we can take possession of the promises that have been made to us. Having a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith and having our hearts sprinkled from all evil conscience and our bodies washed by the Word of God, we have the right conditions to approach the sanctuary and confidence to enter it. Nothing accuses us. Nothing oppresses us. This is the strength that is able to attain His promises.

Keep your faith pure so that you can make the right choices and decide the course of your life.
