“I Am a Child of God”

10 fingers. 10 toes. A strong heartbeat.That is what every mother desires to hear when she is expecting a newborn baby.

Every mile stone is exciting. First steps, first words, the first time holding a fork. A child is meant to grow and learn and be well.

This is the desire that God has for all of His children. Although, our biological mothers and fathers played a part in our creation we were all made in the image of God.

With this in mind, God did not create us to suffer. We were not created with the purpose of being sick or depressed. Nor to face divorce, unemployment, heartbreak or be broken. As children of God we were meant to have a life that glorifies God‘s name.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Maybe you’ve been crying, but your Father in Heaven desires to wipe away every tear and to remove every sorrow and every pain. He desires the best for His children. If you have been feeling lost, look to your heavenly Father and ask for His care.
