At times, you may think that your friends do not understand you, that your parents do not realize your true potential, or that your children have neglected your care and love for them. But do not worry; God knows you and understands you more than anyone else could. He perceives your every thought and feeling. He is completely aware of what you can and cannot do. Since God knows you very well, there is no need for you to get frustrated with human negligence.
Peter was audacious and confident; he did not fear the consequences of his faith. When they were in Jerusalem, persecution was very high, but he insisted in what he believed: the truth. He did not remain silent before shame and inappropriate judgment; he spoke with assurance and boldness.
Normally, being compared to others brings uncertainty, and the devil uses this uncertainty to increase negativity and lower the person’s self-confidence, eventually making them feel helpless before a situation.
