It’s one thing to suffer momentarily and another to live a life of anguish. Perhaps you think that no one’s life could be that bad to be described as “anguish.” Unfortunately, that is what many friends and family members of those who have taken their lives thought. Those who could no longer bear living with a disease, sadness, heartbreak or simply could not bear life anymore. Many have not reached this point and the volunteers and pastors of The Universal Church work tirelessly to make sure they never will.
Everyone faces their day of trouble, it’s undeniable. As humans, we were never placed on this Earth to suffer and yet, so many are suffering. They have suffered due to sickness, debt, the anguish of the soul, broken families and relationships and some have even gotten to the point of giving up altogether.
Life gets tough but does it have to be? There’s no reason you cannot have a happy and fulfilled life. It’s what God wants for us:
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
A full life means many things: a happy family, a healthy body, a healthy relationship, a successful financial life but above all, it means having a life of peace and happiness.
When was the last time you were truly happy? Not momentarily when you’re around friends or family, but happy in every area of your life, starting from the inside out?
