Many people wonder why they have been taking part in the church meetings for so long, yet they have not achieved their goals. They are probably afraid of someone or something. If you are afraid, God is telling you today that He is your shield. Maybe your boss said, “I want to talk to you on Monday,” and you are afraid of the conversation; you probably think that you are in trouble. Or, you have not been able to pay your rent or your mortgage, and you are afraid of losing your house or your job. Maybe, you have made exams and are afraid to hear the results from the doctor. Every human being, regardless of how strong they are or how long they have been living by faith, there are things that happen along their life that bring them fear.
Abraham, with 318 men from his own household, overcame several kings who joined forces and invaded Sodom. He overcame many battles, and even though he was the father of faith, he was afraid at a certain moment in his life. The Lord came to him and said, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” (Genesis 15:1)
God was with Abraham, and today He wants to be with you. If God is with you, do not be afraid! Abraham died full of years and satisfied. The same God that spoke to Abraham will make a way for you.
May the God of the Bible bless you,
