Help Save a Life
The Universal Church in Houston, Texas is partnering with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center (giveblood.org) to help the community of Houston. During these uncertain times, there has been a great shortage of blood in the United States.
Blood donors are very important because they help save a life.
In addition, people with other conditions, such as venous and arterial thrombosis, bleeding disorders, hemoglobinopathies, multiple myeloma, and other gammopathies, need a significant amount of blood on a continual basis.
Here’s some interesting blood facts you should know about:

According to the Red Cross, they have distributed 75,000 blood products that is decreasing the nation’s blood supply. Hospitals are needing all types of blood, mainly type O, everyone can donate regardless of the persons’ situation (Severe Blood Shortage).
The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center has five programs; High School Donors, Capital Life Force, Education and Commit for Life that helps people in the Texas Gulf Coast region.
