Sunday of “Lord, Take Away My Pain”

This Sunday at 10 AM

Sunday of the Lord: Take Away My Pain, with the Lord's Supper

This Sunday, February 8th, The Universal Church invites everyone to bring their sorrows before God.

When Pain Is Invisible but Real

Faith teaches us that there are pains we cannot see, yet they weigh heavily on the soul. Time may not heal these inner wounds, and humanly speaking, they may seem without solution.

However, in the light of God’s Word, we find a clear and living promise:

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows… (Isaiah 53:4)

No pain is too great or too strong for God to heal. Contrary to what many say, that which causes silent suffering can indeed be transformed when placed before the Lord.

An Invitation to Place Your Pain on the Altar

The advice is simple and practical: write down your pain and present it to God. This is not just a symbolic gesture; it is an act of faith. By doing so, you acknowledge your limitations and place your full trust in divine power.

In this way, the long-awaited relief and healing move from being a distant wish to becoming a reality. Faith allows this promise to be fulfilled in the believer’s life.
