The Universal Church hosted the mega event that brought people from across the Caribbean.
On Sunday, January 21, 2024, The Showdown of Faith Event took place with over 10,000 attendees in Jamaica. Bishop Bira Joshua, the host of the Showdown of Faith program in America, along with the bishops and pastors of the Universal Church in the Caribbean, was also in attendance.
The Showdown of Faith Event took place at The National Arena in Jamaica. The Universal Church hosted the mega event that brought people from across the Caribbean.
Throughout the service, attendees received prayer for uplifting, and a special spiritual message was passed down to all who attended. During the event, many gave testimonies that demonstrated transformation. Indeed, all the people saw the power of the faith!
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” (1 Corinthians 4:20)
The Showdown of Faith event strengthened the attendees emotionally and spiritually by giving them a foundation of the actual relationship with God for the salvation of their souls.
A special prayer also was said to help those who were depressed and suicidal. As stated in the Bible:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
The Showdown of Faith Event was a great success! The presence of God was seen.
